Target Audience: Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, CRNAs, OR Nurses, Practice Managers, Risk Managers, Residents, and Medical Students
Educational Methods: Lectures utilizing leading edge technology, including the audience response system, will be provided with moderated breakout sessions.
Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the most important and current aspects and challenges in operating room administration.
  • Describe future challenges facing hospitals and academic medical centers.
  • Describe recent and future clinical developments in anesthesiology.

 
Accreditation:

Boston University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Boston University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 18.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Conference without optional breakout sessions: 16.5 credits
Breakout sessions: 1 credit per session

This program includes 3.75 hours which meet the criteria of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine for risk management study.
