The Medical-Legal Partnership for Children will conduct a three-hour advocacy boot camp for pediatricians and other healthcare providers. CME credit will be available.
This is an opportunity for current and new faculty and staff to gain advocacy knowledge and strategies that can immediately be integrated into your clinical practice and to learn about the breadth of services MLPC provides. Attendees will specifically learn about advocacy related to income support for immigrants, housing conditions, paternity and birth certificates.

- Recognize constellation of social determinants of health that influence child health
- Screen patients for social barriers to health, and consult with MLPC when appropriate
- Employ basic advocacy strategies and skills to protect their patients' health
