> Registering for the ROR-CME Course

Click on the "Registration" option on the left-hand side to register for the ROR-CME Course for which, if you pass the accompanying test, you will receive one Category 1 AMA Physician’s Recognition Award credit from Boston University School of Medicine, Department of Continuing Medical Education (CME).

New Registrants will fill out the complete registration form before entering this Internet-based course. If you wish to return on a later date, your email address will save as your login identification. This will allow you to return to the content of this module ONLY. You will NOT be able to return to the test questions.

> How and When Will I Get my Certificate

Boston University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CME credit is for physicians only although other clinicians are encouraged to review the course material and complete the test. Non-physicians who pass the test will receive a certification of completion.

Certificates will be mailed using the postal address provided within six weeks. You MUST provide a street address or PO Box in order to receive a certificate. The postal service will not deliver mail to health centers or similar locations without a street address.

The "ROR-CME Course Home Page" link will be present at all times throughout the course on your left-hand bar. When you register as a new or returning user to the ROR-CME Course, in order to access the ROR-CME Course Home Page you will be reminded that you are exiting the Course and that you will be able to re-enter at any time in the future by using your login identification at the registration page.

The left-hand bar will provide you with a variety of information, depending upon where in the course you are located. In the pages before registering, you will find information on accreditation, getting started, test overview and registration for the course ahead. When you register for the ROR-CME Course, the left-hand bar will have color-coded diagramatic information about each Course Section and its subsections. As you advance through the course, the section that you are working on will expand to give you an overview of the material ahead. For example:

> Course Outline

You can access an outline of the entire course within each section by clicking the "Course Outline" button that appears at all times at the top of the page. The ROR-CME course is organized into four sections:

The first three sections are the content areas of the course. Each of these sections includes a test at the end. After the test in the third section, you will complete a brief course evaluation and view your test score. The fourth section contains important information about starting a ROR program in a clinical setting. It is not part of the CME course material but may be usuful to you as you implement the program.

You will have the option of reviewing the "References" always available throughout the course at the top of the each page.
