Dear Colleagues:

The Sixth International Conference on Cryptococcus & Cryptococcosis was held in Boston, Massachusetts from June 24 - 28, 2005. Attendance exceeded 250 people, which is truly phenomenal for a meeting devoted to a single fungal pathogen. The quality of the scientific presentations was outstanding. To all conference attendees, thank you for making this a highly successful meeting. To our many sponsors, thank you for your generosity.

There are two new additions to the web site. First, the abstracts from the meeting have been posted. Second, digital pictures taken during the meeting have been added. If you have pictures from the meeting you would like to share, please email them to me at slevitz@bu.edu.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the conference organizers at (617) 638-4605 or (800) 688-2475 or by email at cme@bu.edu.

Finally, I hope to see you at the 7th International Conference on Cryptococcus and Cryptococcosis which is scheduled to take place in Nagasaki, Japan in 2008. Dr. Shigeru Kohno will be the host for the conference.
