About Learning & Event Technology Services

Learning & Event Technology Services (LETS) is a group within Client Services & Support in Boston University’s Information Services & Technology office. LETS is involved with the design, specification, configuration and support of audio/visual equipment in the University Registrar classrooms. Our team is comprised of Learning & Event Technology Specialists, Command Center Specialists and Student Media Assistants.

We have offices and depots across campus so we are close by if you need us!

  • Our LETS hotline (617) 353-3227 is monitored throughout our open hours. Dial 3-3227 from any campus phone.
  • You can send mail to us at classrooms@bu.edu with general questions or requests.
  • Our students wear easily identifiable uniform shirts and name badges and they patrol the halls throughout the day.
  • LETS utilizes a central command center, controlled and monitored by our staff, and our students are equipped with push-to-talk devices so they are in constant contact and can be deployed quickly to an emergency situation in a classroom.
