Master of City Planning
I came to the MCP program in the spring of 2008, after completing my undergraduate study at the University of New Hampshire in May of 2007. After spending some time out of school in the job market, I decided that a master's degree was essential to obtaining employment in the fields that I was interested in. I knew that I was interested in going into a planning career—I just wasn't sure in what capacity or concentration.
I like the program at BU’s Metropolitan College because it allows me to take classes part-time in a number of areas and specializations, which will help me narrow down my choices and decide exactly where I want to go with my future career. The City Planning track allows me to work as well, which further enhances my opportunities to gain real-world experience and knowledge of the field of planning.
