Master of City Planning
Deirdre Habershaw is a candidate for Masters in City Planning. After graduating with a B.A. in Human Development from Boston College in May 2004, Deirdre worked as a community liaison and legislative aide to Boston City Councilor Maureen Feeney. It was there that her interest in urban affairs and planning was peaked.
Deirdre has been with the MCP program since 2007- her studies focus on community participation, land-use, and regional planning. She is very active in her native Dorchester community, serving as the president of the Columbia-Savin Hill Civic Association since January 2007. She also members various community boards, and organizes and participates in various community events. Deirdre is an avid Red Sox fan and an occasional crafter. She lives in Dorchester with her husband, Auston, their Boston Terrier, Hugo and is expecting her first child. GO TERRIERS!
