In his own words: “My Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture sparked my interest in urban place-making and social justice issues. Being a Boston native, I knew it was time for me to return home when I got the opportunity to pursue my Masters of City Planning at BU. I appreciated the City Planning and Urban Affairs Program’s flexible scheduling, which allowed me to keep a full time job in real estate development while pursuing my degree. In the Program I was encouraged to explore all aspects of urban planning, from public health to budgeting and even urban design challenges. Upon graduating, I soon found my current position as a project designer with the planning department at Nitsch Engineering, and I entered the workforce prepared to make a difference as a more dynamic leader with experience in place-based design and policy decision-making”
