Biography:

Jonathan Greeley leads Amazon’s Economic Development efforts in New England as a member of the Global Public Policy Team. At Amazon his portfolio includes policymaker engagement, real estate development and logistics operations across Amazon’s business portfolio. Prior to joining Amazon, Jonathan spent more than 14 years at the Boston Planning and Development Agency (BPDA) were he served as a member of the agency’s Senior Leadership team as the Director of Development Review. There he led the review of all real estate and development projects, as well as institutional growth, within the City of Boston. During his time at the agency he also led the conceptualization and launch of Imagine Boston 2030, the city’s first citywide master plan in more than 50 years, and was involved in numerous other planning initiatives. Before his time at the BPDA, Jonathan spent five years working with the Boston Private Industry Council (PIC), an organization focused on establishing partnerships between the Boston Public Schools (BPS) and the local business community. Jonathan, who resides in Charlestown, holds a B.A. from St. Anselm College and an M.A in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University. He received his AICP certification from the American Planning Association in 2014.
