Ms. Raitt is an experienced housing, community development, and planning professional with more than 20 years of experience working for municipal, nonprofit and regional organizations. She specializes in comprehensive, neighborhood, and housing plan development, neighborhood revitalization techniques, and organizational planning and development. She presents on topics such as Adaptive Reuse, Green Affordable Housing, Arts, Culture, and Economic Development, and Creating Mixed-Income Communities. Director of Planning and Community Development, she oversees and implements long-range comprehensive planning programs in Arlington related to planning, economic development, housing, arts & culture, conservation, urban renewal, zoning, and transportation, plus securing related funding and ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance in these areas.
