Adding/Dropping Courses
Adding a Course
After you have registered for your classes, course changes can be made on the Student Link for eligible courses/students, or by using a Class Adjustment Form. If you wish to register for a course that is already full, you must obtain the instructor’s permission and signature on the Class Adjustment Form. No signature is required for classes with open seats. Submit your signed Class Adjustment Form to:

The last day to add a course for Fall 2008 is Monday, September 15, 2008.
Dropping a Course
To drop a course or courses, you must complete the Class Adjustment Form. Upon receipt of Class Adjustment Form, the Office of the University Registrar will adjust your account according to the Refund Policy Dates.

Withdrawing From All Courses
To drop your total course load, you must complete the Withdrawal/Leave of Absence Form and submit to:

Upon receipt of your official withdrawal form, the Office of the University Registrar will adjust your account according to the Refund Policy Dates.

Academic Leave of Absence
A student who is registered for a semester and decides not to attend must officially take a leave of absence or withdraw. A leave of absence should be taken when the student intends to return in a future semester; a withdrawal indicates a decision to permanently leave the University. Charges are canceled in accordance with the published refund schedule, based on the effective date of the withdrawal or leave of absence.
Students who wish to withdraw or take a leave of absence must contact the appropriate office, listed below.

Mere absence from classes does not reduce a student's financial obligation nor guarantee that a final grade will not be recorded.
