Calendar

Daily attendance at the Center is not required, as these early years are the only time in your child’s life when you can dictate their school schedule. Our earliest drop-off time is 8:30am and we ask that you try to pick your child up by 5:20pm so you have time to speak with your child’s teachers about their day and leave the Center no later than 5:30pm.

The Center follows the University’s Holiday Calendar. Please see the closure dates below for the 2023-2024 school year:

  • Indigenous Peoples’ Day-October 9th, 2023
  • Veteran’s Day-November 10th, 2023
    • Professional Development Day
  • Early Closure before Thanksgiving-November 22nd, 2023
    • Center closes at 2:00pm
  • Thanksgiving Day & Day After Thanksgiving-November 23rd & 24th, 2023
  • University Intercession-December 23rd, 2023-January 1st, 2024
    • Center closes at 5:30pm December 22nd, 2023
  • New Year’s Day-January 1st, 2024
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day-January 15th, 2024
  • Presidents’ Day-February 19th, 2024
  • Patriots’ Day–April 15th, 2024
  • Early Closure before Memorial Day Weekend-May 24th, 2024
    • Center closes at 2:00pm
  • Memorial Day–May 27th, 2024
  • Juneteenth-June 19th, 2024
  • Early Closure before Independence Day-July 3rd, 2024
    • Center closes at 2:00pm
  • Independence Day–July 4th, 2024
  • Preparation Week-August 26th-August 30th, 2024

Additional Closures:

  • Preparation Week-five days at the end of August
  • Early closure one day in December for end of year staff gathering
  • Spring Professional Development Early Closure Day
    • This typically happens in March or April, and the early closure will happen at 12:00 noon.
