		The research in our lab focuses on children’s and adults’ conceptions of people, animals and objects. Some of our interests include:

• People’s beliefs about the purpose and origins of natural phenomena

• Children’s tool use behavior and reasoning about human-made objects

• Children’s ideas about other people’s minds and behavior

• How children learn social norms and cultural conventions

• Biases in children’s and adults’ reasoning about actions and objects
