From Boston -From the North -From the South -From the West - By Public Transportation

Meter parking is available surrounding City Hall, and a parking lot is located behind the building.

From Boston

Take Storrow Drive heading toward Rt. 1 North and 93 North;
Take the exit for the Tobin Bridge, Rt. 1 North--exit is to the left;
Take the second Chelsea exit, “Chelsea Only” (the first exit says “Chelsea Waterfront”);
Go straight through two stop signs;
At the third stop sign, bear left;
City Hall will be straight ahead; it's a large brick building with a gold dome.

From the North

Take Rt. 95 South to Rt. 1 South;
Take Carter Street/Chelsea/East Boston exit (last exit before toll);
Bear right at bottom of ramp;
Take first left onto Beech Street and continue to end;
Take left onto Spruce Street;
Take first right onto Sixth Street and continue to end;
City Hall will be straight ahead; it's a large brick building with a gold dome.

From the West

Take Rt. 90 East--Mass Turnpike;
Follow signs for Rt. 93 North (Rt. 1 North);
Take Tobin Bridge exit (Rt. 1 North)--after you've traveled past the downtown area and the new Fleet Center it's the first exit off to your left--it loops around a gravel company;
Take the second Chelsea exit (“Chelsea”) off the Tobin Bridge (the first exit says “Chelsea Waterfront”);
Go straight at first stop sign;
Continue straight at second stop sign;
Bear to the left after the third stop sign; this will put you onto Hawthorne (the one-way street that passes right by City Hall);
Continue into the center of Chelsea;
After crossing one stop light City Hall is on your immediate left; it's a large brick building with a gold dome.

From the South (Rt. 93)

Take Rt. 16 Everett/Revere exit;
Take a left at set of lights and continue following Rt. 16 toward Revere/Chelsea (3.2 miles); At corner before Chelsea High School, marked by a Mobil gas station and Eastern Flowers, take a right at the light onto Everett Avenue;
Continue toward Mystic Mall on right;
Take a left and continue over the railroad tracks (Tobin Bridge is above);
After crossing the railroad tracks take your first right onto Sixth Street;
Crossing over the railroad tracks again, continue straight ahead to Stop sign;
City Hall will be straight ahead; it's a large brick building with a gold dome.

By Public Transportation

Take the MBTA to Haymarket stop;
Pick up the 111 bus--Woodlawn;
The bus will drop you off in front of Broadway National Bank (Bellingham Square) in the center of Chelsea--City Hall will be straight ahead; it's a large brick building with a gold dome.
