Reverend Jen Quigley

BA | Boston University
Rev. Jennifer Quigley serves as Chapel Associate for Vocational Discernment and has been a member of the Marsh Chapel staff since 2009. She is passionate about helping students wrestle with and discern their future, whether their path is headed toward a corporate career, the academy, or lay or ordained service to the church. Part of Jen’s role at the Chapel is to be a journey-partner for individuals who wish to be in intentional discernment about their future. She regularly meets with undergraduates who are preparing for seminary and those interested in or engaged in the process of ordination in The United Methodist Church and other traditions. Together with Chapel Associate for Leadership Development Rev. Soren Hessler, Jen co-supervises the undergraduate internship program for students exploring ministry. Jen and Soren also co-celebrate the 7-minute Common Ground Communion liturgy on Thursdays at 12:20pm on Marsh Plaza during the academic year.
Jen was born in South Bend, Indiana, but grew up on Long Island, New York. She is a doctoral student in New Testament and Early Christianity at Harvard Divinity School. Jen is an ordained elder in full connection in the West Ohio Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, appointed to extension ministry at Marsh Chapel. Jen and Soren were married at Marsh Chapel by Dean Robert Allan Hill in 2009.
