Reverend Jen Quigley

Jen Quigley serves as Chapel Associate for Vocational Discernment and has been a member of the Marsh Chapel staff since 2009.  She is passionate about helping students wrestle with and discern their future, whether their path is headed toward a corporate career, the academy, or lay or ordained service to the church.  Part of Jen’s role at the Chapel is to be a journey-partner for individuals who wish to be in intentional discernment about their future.  She regularly meets with undergraduates who are preparing for seminary and those interested in or engaged in the process of ordination in The United Methodist Church and other traditions.

Jen was born in South Bend, Indiana, but grew up on Long Island, New York.  She earned a BA from the University Professors Program at Boston University in Literature and Theology in 2008 and graduated from the Boston University School of Theology in 2011 with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Sacred Theology.  She is currently a doctoral student in New Testament and Early Christianity at Harvard Divinity School.  Jen is also a licensed local pastor in the West Ohio Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, appointed to extension ministry at Marsh Chapel. Jen and Chapel Associate Soren Hessler were married at Marsh Chapel by Dean Robert Allan Hill in 2009.
