Servant Team – Student Leadership

The Servant Team is the ecumenical Christian student leadership council at Marsh Chapel. They do much of the programming in the areas of fellowship, worship and study. Meeting weekly over the year, the team is an excellent opportunity to deepen in faith and community formation and to practice servant leadership. Marsh Chapel is working to develop the next generation of church leaders, and the Servant Team is them!

Fellowship and Service Opportunities This Semester

Servant Team meets nearly every Sunday at 6:00p.m. to eat together at Marciano Commons.  If you do not have a meal plan, we are happy to take care of dinner so that any hungry undergraduates can enjoy time in fellowship with other undergraduates.

Servant Team is inviting any undergraduates who would like to be more involved in fellowship at Marsh Chapel or who just want to meet some awesome new people to join in the Undergraduate Day of Fun on April 27th. We will be going to Mount Monadnock State Park for a day hike and a cookout. Contact Caitlin White at whiteca@bu.edu to get on the list. We only have so many spots so let us know you are interested in attending!

Servant Team will be serving dinner to volunteers and runners in this year’s Boston Marathon on the evening of April 14th.

Finally, we will be walking in support of better mental health care and those families affected by depression and suicide on April 28th at 11:00a.m.

If you are interested in registering for any of our volunteer events, joining us for dinner on Sunday, or simply learning more about being a leader at Marsh Chapel, contact servants@bu.edu. We look forward to getting to know you!
