Protestant Christians

Marsh Chapel is the site of the Interdenominational Protestant Ministry on campus. It is located at 735 Commonwealth Avenue. The Dean, Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill, leads and preaches at the University Service of worship each Sunday at 11 a.m. The service is broadcast weekly on WBUR radio, at 90.9 on the FM dial. For information on any of the following, call the Chapel office at 617-353-3560, or look up detailed discussion of certain topics elsewhere on our website.

The service is open to people from all faith and denominational traditions. It includes several scripture lessons, congregational hymns and anthems sung by the Marsh Chapel Choir or, at times, by the Inner Strength Gospel Choir, a sermon, and congregational prayers. A full Eucharist is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Every service is followed by a fellowship coffee hour at noon, and often a picnic or brunch follows the service as well.

Other weekly worship opportunities are Wednesday Morning and Evening Prayer, at 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM respectively.
