Ministry of Food

One of the most important parts of our life together is the ministry of food. All are welcome to join us for these fellowship events. Greet old friends, meet new faces, and break bread together at any or all of these meals hosted by Marsh Chapel.

Coffee Hour Sundays — 12:00 noon — Marsh Room
After the Interdenominational Service, join us at coffee hour for some light refreshments and fellowship.

Covered Dish Lunch Sundays — Sept. 2, Oct. 7, Nov. 4, Dec. 2
Every first Sunday of the month, we gather for a potluck style meal together in the basement of Marsh Chapel, where different members of the Marsh Chapter bring covered dishes to share.

Community Dinner Mondays — 6:00 p.m. — Marsh Room, while classes are in session
Community Dinner is a space where members and friends of the Boston University community gather in meal and friendship. In order to be open and inviting to all regardless of dietary needs, these meals are typically vegan.

Global Dinner Club Tuesdays — 6:00 p.m. — Thurman Room, while classes are in session
The Global Dinner Club is a group that creates safe, sacred spaces for
fellowship, relational ministry, and spiritual exploration. Primarily we do this
by cooking cultural foods together, sharing stories, and discussing culture.
This group thrives on diversity and is open to people of all nationalities and
religions. (Contact: Chaplain Jessica Chicka, jchicka@bu.edu)

Eucharist and Dinner Wednesdays — 5:15 p.m. — Nave & Thurman Room, while classes are in session
After the Ecumenical Service with Eucharist, all are invited to join the Associate Chaplain for Episcopal Ministry for a meal. This meal typically includes a vegetarian or vegan option in order accommodate different dietary needs.
