Evangelical Christians
Boston University is home to a wealth of religious views. One of the fastest growing expressions of faith can be seen in small group, para-church organizations. In recent years, non-denominational Christian groups, sometimes identified as "Evangelical Christians," have brought vital new ministries to the campus. The Evangelical Council was formed to meet a need expressed by the Boston University Religious Life Council to begin an exploratory discussion aimed at building mutual understanding, accurate definition, fair standards, and collegial support among the vastly expanding Evangelical Christian organizations on the campus of Boston University.
