Roman Catholics
The Catholic community at Boston University gathers students, faculty, alumni, and local residents in worship, prayer, and fellowship. We believe in the compatibility of the Catholic faith and intellectual life. We are committed and challenged by the life and love of Jesus to: evangelization; reconciliation; and ecumenism.
We desire to grow through prayer, study, sacraments, and social action; and to be channels of God's love to those living, learning and working in our campus community, answering St. Paul's call to be "Ambassadors of Christ".
The Catholic Center sponsors socials, discussions, RCIA classes and retreats, as well as spagheti suppers on Tuesday nights at 6:00pm. Liturgical ministries, social justice volunteer opportunities, and prayer groups are just some of the possibilities for involvement. Sunday Masses take place in Marsh Chapel as follows: 12:30pm traditional music & choir; 6pm contemporary music & choir; 10pm instrumental music.
