Sunday, December 4 at 3:00 p.m. in the Nave of Marsh Chapel
This service is a time when we can acknowledge the “blue” feelings we have during the Christmas season, acknowledge the reasons for them, and offer these feelings to God.
In the midst of the surrounding holiday cheer, some of us mourn a loved one, or feel particularly lonely in our challenges, or struggle with the dark and the cold. In this service, we share in song, scripture, prayer, candlelight, reflection, and solace of knowing that we are not alone.
Sunday, November 6, 9:45 am in the Nave
Dr. Scott Allen Jarrett will offer a 30-minute lecture on the Cantata Herr, gehe nicht ins Gericht, BWV 105, with musical examples by the Marsh Chapel Choir and Collegium.
The Cantata in it’s entirety will then be performed by the Choir and Collegium as part of the 11 am Interdenominational Worship Service.
A catered breakfast reception will follow the lecture so please join us downstairs to continue the discussion and enjoy fellowship with the choir and orchestra.
