 Marsh Chapel is located at 735 Commonwealth Avenue, in the heart of the Boston University campus. Street parking is available throughout Commonwealth Avenue and Bay State Road. Next to the Chapel, behind the College of Arts and Sciences, is a paid parking lot [which is free on Sundays].
Marsh Chapel is easily accesible by the MBTA. We are located at the BU Central Stop of the B Green Line Train.
If you are driving in from the south or west:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 18, Allston/Cambridge. Exit left. Follow signs to Cambridge to the first set of lights. Turn right at the lights; this is Soldiers Field Road/Storrow Drive. Exit Storrow Drive at the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.
If you are driving from the southeast:
Take I-93/Route 3 (Southeast Expressway) north to Boston. Exit onto Storrow Drive (Exit 26). Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.
If you are driving from the north:
Take I-93 or Route 1 South to Boston. Exit onto Storrow Drive (Exit 26). Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.
If you are driving from the North Shore:
Take 1-A through the Sumner Tunnel. Follow signs onto the Expressway North. Take the Back Bay/Storrow Drive exit and follow signs onto Storrow Drive. Continue on Storrow Drive to the Kenmore exit. Follow local directions below.
Local Directions:
At the first set of lights, turn right onto Beacon Street. At this point, the road forks; the right fork is Bay State Road. The left fork will take you into Kenmore Square. In the Square, bear right onto Commonwealth Avenue. Drive a half of a mile down Commonwealth Avenue and the Chapel will be on your right.
