Boston Semester Preparation
- Schedule an appointment with your CGS academic advisor to discuss spring courses and registration process
- Visit Student Accounting for details on the Tuition Payment Plan, including details about Sharelink and Disclosure options
- If not yet complete, mail health forms and Certificate of Immunization
November 2019
Boston Semester Preparation
- Register for spring semester classes
- Enroll in or waive BU medical insurance
- Complete the New Student Housing Application
- Consider participating in Alternative Service Break
- Receive details for Winter Orientation, if attending
- If not yet complete, submit health forms and Certificate of Immunization online
London Semester Preparation
- Summer term London dates confirmed
December 2019

- Student Activities Office announces Week of Welcome events
- Complete Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention requirements
- Review BU community standards
London Semester Preparation
- Review the London pre-departure page from Study Abroad and collect London pre-departure documents
January 2020

- Attend Winter Orientation if you did not attend in the summer
- Housing assignments announced
- Deadline to complete Part 1 of AlcoholEdu and Sexual Assault Prevention requirements
- Winter Orientation attendees informed on what to pack
- Move-in dates: Winter Orientation Attendees: 1/17, 10am- 4pm; Summer Orientation attendees: 1/19, 12pm- 4pm
- Check your compliance status in the Student Link
- Attend the student activities fair and find activities to join through the Student Activities Office
- Attend CGS welcome events
- Matriculation: Jan. 20, 10 a.m., CGS Lobby and Jacob Sleeper Auditorium
- Come Get Social: Jan. 24, 2:30-5 p.m., Gilbane Lounge
- Classes begin: January 21, 2020

- Deadline to complete independent flight form, if applicable
- London room assignments announced
- Review the Study Abroad pre-departure page for details on program travel, orientation, housing, living in London, social events, health and emergency information
- Attend mandatory pre-departure meetings to review London arrival, housing, academic logistics
- Abroad health insurance information becomes available
