Professor Tilchin
William
N. Tilchin is a scholar in the fields of U.S. diplomatic history
and the history of presidential leadership. His primary research
focus is the presidency and foreign policy of Theodore Roosevelt
Professor
Tilchin is the author of Theodore
Roosevelt and the British Empire: A Study in Presidential
Statecraft (St. Martin's Press, 1997) and of numerous
essays on Roosevelt's diplomacy and related topics.

He is
co-editor (with Charles E. Neu) of Artists of Power:
Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and their Enduring Impact
on U.S.
Foreign Policy (Praeger Security International,
2006.)

Professor
Tilchin is also the editor of the quarterly Theodore
Roosevelt Association Journal and has
been a keynote or luncheon speaker in various forums
throughout
the United States.
In
2006 he won the Peyton
Richter Award
