SUSPENSION RECOMMENDATIONS TO DEAN WELLS: by Wednesday, May
14 “Any student
who, in the opinion of the faculty team and Dean of the
College is markedly deficient in academic
performance, attitude, attendance, effort, and behavior,
and not profiting sufficiently from his or her educational
experiences, may be suspended from the University permanently
or for a specified period.”
ACADEMIC STATUS
1. Freshmen below 1.80 are not eligible to continue to the
sophomore year. They may attend BU summer school to raise
their GPAs.
2. Sophomores who are not eligible to continue may take
summer term courses either at BU or at another institution.
If by the end of the summer they have not met the requirements
for continuation, they will be withdrawn from the University.
