New CGS Journal Seeks Submissions

Do you have interdisciplinary research, insight, or experience you’d like to share with the academic community? CGS’s new Center for Interdisciplinary Teaching & Learning is launching an international, peer-reviewed online journal in 2012. The journal, Impact, will feature scholarly and creative nonfiction essays that explore the value of interdisciplinary teaching and thinking or examine compelling connections between great thinkers from different disciplines and/or time periods. The journal will showcase CGS’s rich, interdisciplinary program, while also encouraging interdisciplinary teaching and research at other institutions.

Submissions can be made online at Impact’s dedicated submission website. Essays should be between 500 and 3,000 words in length and should follow the documentation style appropriate to the main disciplinary areas represented in the piece. Visit the center’s website for more information.
