Winners of the Freshman Essay Contest, 2012

The  ad-hoc group of judges has completed the work of reading and ranking submissions to the 2012 Freshman Essay Contest.

This year we received no fewer than 29 submissions, from all three freshman divisions. And the work of judging essays was shared by faculty from all three divisions. As in prior years, students had to have their work nominated by faculty, and could submit more than one essay if nominated by more than one teacher.

The winning essays are on display online.
