College of General Studies Professor Robert Schoch is inviting those who qualify to participate in a Grants for Undergraduate Teaching and Scholarship-funded research opportunity.
The goals of this project are as follows:
1) To provide the student participants with a rich firsthand research experience through dealing with historical source materials addressing a challenging intellectual topic.
2) To use the interdisciplinary material developed out of this project to enrich and enhance the courses taught at the College of General Studies
3) Ultimately develop a publishable annotated English translation of, and commentary on, Geschichte des Spiritismus
Details:
Students will receive a $600 stipend, as well as credit for the study. The hours will be flexible.
Requirements:
The students must be fluent in German, in order to be able to interpret the given texts.
