Zambia Orphans and Vulnerable Children Systems Strengthening (ZOVSS)

Project Description

The Zambia Orphans and Vulnerable Children Systems Strengthening (ZOVSS) Project is a five-year project to support the Government of the Republic of Zambia in improving the quality of OVC services with a focus on strengthening the system and policy frameworks for coordination, planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation.  The four key objectives are as followed:

•  To strengthen human resources for improved service delivery
•  To provide support to Ministries with OVC mandates at the national and district levels and promote harmonization and collaboration among the ministries, private sector and NGOs
•  To foster an enabling environment for OVC policy and regulatory environment
•  To build the capacity of local NGOs implementing ZOMIS and DOSS
