Child Survival

The CGHD’s body of work on child survival seeks to identify, develop, and test technologies and interventions to improve the health of infants, children, and families in developing countries. The CGHD targets the following health areas: acute respiratory infection prevention and treatment; HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment; malaria management and prevention; integrated management of childhood illnesses, including improved training and teaming of community-based health workers; and integration of neonatal and child health services at the community level.
