The Center for Global Health & Development (CGHD) has invited experts in urban health from BU and around the world for a one-day conference to be held on October 28, 2011. The summit celebrates the launch of urban health as a new major topic area at the center and provides an opportunity to explore collaborations across BU and with the larger urban health community. As a focal point for global health activities at BU, the CGHD will moderate a series of discussions on urban health issues building on the center’s existing strengths in health-care delivery and reproductive, maternal and child health in South Asia and Africa.
