Steven Purcell, Project Administrator for the Center for Global Health and Development (CGHD) at Boston University, holds a BA in Psychology and Neuroscience from Temple University and a MPH in International Health from Boston University. Mr. Purcell serves as the Project Administrator for studies assessing MDR-TB treatment in South Africa and Peru; orphans and vulnerable children systems strengthening in Zambia; and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV in Zambia. Before joining CGHD, Steven worked in project management for medical imaging in clinical trials, for two global health NGOs, and has done fieldwork in El Salvador, Uganda, and Ethiopia. Most recently, he supported the Research Program on Children and Global Adversity at the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights and is a contributing author to HealthMap’s the Disease Daily.
