Biography

Steven Crimaldi, Senior Program Manager at the Center for Global Health & Development, holds a BA from The George Washington University and a MTS from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology. Mr. Crimaldi works on studies evaluating the capacity of civil society organizations to improve the health of OVC in Ethiopia; assessing remuneration models for hospital and community pharmacies around the world; improving health facility service in Eastern Ghana; capacity building and evaluation for women’s self-help groups in India; and building a global student newsroom to report on foreign aid from the perspective of the recipient. Prior to joining CGHD, he directed the Dead Man Walking School Project, an organization committed to creating a lasting discourse on capital punishment through academic study and the arts. Additional experiences include time spent in Ethiopia assessing rural health centers for the William Jefferson Clinton Health Access Initiative, and as a staffer in the United States Senate.
