Emily Hammond, Data Manager at the Center for Global Health & Development, holds an MPH in Epidemiology from Boston University and a BS in Psychology from Northeastern University. She provides analytical, technical, and field-based support to research projects conducted by CGHD and assists with management duties within the Zambia Center for Applied Health Research and Development (ZCAHRD) and the International Research Coordinating Center (IRCC). She is involved in database design, cleaning and analysis and oversees data entry for CGHD projects. Ms. Hammond has over five years of experience in health research and data management. Prior to joining CGHD, she provided data management and research support to a variety of projects at Massachusetts General Hospital, including two NIH-funded national research networks and an international study to identify a predictive gene signature for treatment of breast cancer.
