Call for Entries: 60th Anniversary Alumni Show

In celebration of the College of Fine Arts 60th Anniversary, the School of Visual Arts will present Convergence, its first large-scale alumni exhibition to be held October–December, 2014 in Boston University’s 808 Gallery. The exhibition will be held as part of CFA’s 60th Anniversary programming.

We are very pleased to announce that the exhibition will be guest curated by New York based artist Andrea Champlin. Champlin’s work inhabits the landscape between technologically-mediated and direct, lived experience. Exploring the psychological tension between these perceptual worlds, her paintings reflect the gaps, overlaps and collisions in contemporary life. Champlin has had solo shows in Boston, New York and New London, CT, and has participated in group shows nationally and internationally.

The exhibition seeks to showcase the excellence of School of Visual Arts alumni working in all media and at all stages of their careers. Both graduate and undergraduate alumni are encouraged to submit artwork for consideration.
