Assistant Professor (Acting)

BFA (Acting) and MFA (Theatre Education), Boston University.  Acting credits include appearances at the Huntington Theatre Company, Lyric Stage, and Boston Playwrights' Theatre, among others.  He has premièred roles in 2 Lives by Arthur Laurents and in Ronan Noone's Lepers of Baile Baiste.  As a founding member of the Mermaid Theatre Co., NYC, he appeared in the company's inaugural production of The Rover.  As cofounder and Managing Director (1995-1997) of the Shangri-La Theater Company, Michael oversaw and performed in the first two seasons of this festival of new works.  Currently he is a cocoordinator for the Theatre Arts major, organizer of the senior actors' Showcase, and Director of the BU Summer Theatre Institute for high school students. He has served the University since 1999.
