Debbi Hobson
Costume Shop Supervisor and Lecturer (Costume Crafts)
Deborah has been the Costume Shop Manager at BU since 2006. BA, Regis College and is an MFA candidate at BU. Debbi has done design work for both theatre in the Metro Boston area, as well as movie work throughout New England. Movie work includes designing an award winning short indie film "Walk on By," and assisting on the History Channel’s Desperate Crossing, Nova’s "Pocahontas Revealed," and PBS’ "Louis Brandeis, the People’s Attorney." Theatres she has designed at are the Watertown Children’s Theatre, Hampshire Shakespeare, Devanaughn Theatre, and TheatreZone. She also designs and produces clothing for Argentine Tango dancers under the label Debbi Does Design.
