Breakfast/brunch, lunch, and dinner is included in the residence fee. Meals take into account nutrition and appetite and are designed to appeal to the majority of students. Students who have a special dietary need or a food allergy are strongly encouraged to contact the student life staff before arriving on campus. There are no cooking facilities available for student use.
BUTI employs a staff of five registered nurses, including an Adolescent Behavioral Specialist. Through regular office hours and an on-call Nurse-in-Residence, BUTI provides 24/7 medical coverage that includes the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses, dispensing of prescription and non-prescription medication, and caring for student emotional well-being. The nurses may be consulted on routine medical problems without charge to the student. More serious medical appointments are referred to the local medical facilities.
Security personnel are on duty and patrolling the grounds from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily to ensure the safety of our community.
Free scheduled shuttle bus service is provided daily between the West Street Campus and the Tanglewood grounds for classes, rehearsals, and concerts.
