Spectrum "Art Tasting" Gala Event

The highlight event of the Spectrum Arts Festival, the Spectrum Gala Event on April 21 will serve as a unique opportunity for artists of all mediums and genres to collaborate with one another, as well as present themselves and their work in the most positive of settings—creating a platform to share their talents with the public and give back to their institution. With support from our sponsors, the event will benefit the VH1 Save the Music Foundation and the College of Fine Arts Building Renovation Endowment—a project ensuring the continuation of our success as an artistic center and institution.

About Our Partnerships

Boston University College of Fine Arts Student Government is dedicated to the education of youth in the arts, and we believe partnerships with organizations can help realize our aims and are essential to the survival of the arts and the continued excellence of our own institution. We believe that creating an event which allows students to promote themselves, while giving back to the arts and their institution, is a powerful way to celebrate this vision. VH1 Save the Music Foundation is an example of a nonprofit organization that promotes young artists and their talent, while giving those in need the opportunity to find success and inspiration through the common language of music. By raising vital funds for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation, we hope to increase awareness for the need to support the arts at all levels, while striving to promote accomplished artists, teachers, and their institutions.
