Julia Garcia Combs is originally from the City of Angels. Her BU credits include Frau Heinrich in “The Weavers,” Mrs. Butcher Beynon/ Mrs. Dai Bread One in “Under Milk Wood,” Black Jack Davey in “Call of the Wild,” Johnna in “Naomi in the Living Room”, along with a multitude of dance and movement pieces including “[] [] [] [] [] ”, a dance inside boxes. Her outside credits include Ellen Terry in “The Actor’s Nightmare”, Rosalind in “As You Like It,” and the teenage daughter in “Going Shopping” a film by Henry Jaglom. Since attending BU she has discovered a passion for directing and physical acting, while rediscovering her need to pursue social activism through theater.
