CFA presents Sondheim's PACIFIC OVERTURES

Running December 13-19, with ASL Interpretation and Talk-Back provided on December 17. Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Book by John Weidman, Additional Material by Hugh Wheeler, Directed by Jim Petosa. The authors of ASSASSINS turn their attention to the East in this exploration of Japan’s Westernization. Told through the story of two friends caught in the inevitable winds of change, PACIFIC OVERTURES blends elements of Kabuki theatre with the conventions of the Broadway musical. Running time: 2 hours, 30 minutes, with one intermission. PACIFIC OVERTURES is a featured event of the Boston University College of Fine Arts Keyword Initiative, now in its third year.
