Green Faith, a collaborative project with Boston University students and artist Diana Gilon

Being faithful often means different things to different people. One commonality many religions share is a belief in environmental responsibility and green sustainable practices. The artwork for this project, a three-dimensional sculpture emulating Global Carbon emissions from 1971-2009, will encompass these ideals. The BU community is encouraged to help build this sculpture made of recycled paper, magazines and printed spiritual texts that support environmental responsibility; all of which will come directly from the BU community. The project will evolve over the course of the week between the hours 2:00-9:00pm On Sunday and 11:00am-9:00pm Monday-Thursday. All are invited to participate.
