The Bachelor of Music (BM) is a degree program for students who have completed their high school education, or equivalent, and who wish to prepare for a career in music.  The BM is the only undergraduate degree offered by Boston University’s School of Music and provides a curriculum grounded in music performance skills and literacy.

Application to the Bachelor of Music degree program at the School of Music consists of two important components.  First, all undergraduate applicants must complete an application to Boston University. Second, all undergraduate applicants (regardless of major) must perform an audition.  Please visit one of the pages below for information specific to your intended program of study.
