Music Minor: Music Lessons

  • All non-major and music minor lessons are available for .5 credit and 1 credit.
  • A total of 4 credits of private lessons must must be taken in this program.
  • Private lessons are taught by School of Music graduate students recommended by their departments, adjunct instructors, and full-time School of Music faculty members. In some cases, students may be asked to audition to study with full-time faculty members.
  • Not all instruments will have lessons available every semester.  The lesson priority web form should be filled out by the due date so we can properly staff the teaching studios. 
  • Odd number courses - 14 one-hour lessons/1.0 cr./$1,050
  • Even Numbers courses - 14 half-hr lessons/0.5 cr./$525
