All undergraduate applicants must complete an application to Boston University before their audition can be confirmed.
Applicants may audition in Boston or at one of our regional audition sites. Applicants who live further than 300 miles from an audition site may submit a self-prepared audition.

Students who reside more than 300 miles from an audition location may submit a Self-Prepared Recording.Undergraduate applicants submitting the self-prepared audition must submit a Recorded Audition Information Form. This interactive PDF document may be typed on and mailed with the recording.

All MusB applicants are required to present an instrumental or vocal audition, regardless of major. This means that, for example, MusB applicants majoring in composition must audition on an instrument offered by the School of Music.
