Formerly principal cellist of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic. Artist–in–residence at Bath Music Festival and the Spoleto Festival of Two Worlds. Solo recitals and concerto performances throughout Europe and the United States. Former faculty member, Hochschule für Musik Frankfurt, Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and the University of Texas.
