Stop by the fifth floor of the College of Fine Arts as the spring semester draws to a close and you’ll find frenetic energy in the air. Painting and sculpture majors are rushing to complete their end-of-year projects in the nearly 50 modular studios reserved for juniors and seniors.
Spending several days shooting behind-the-scenes footage, video producer Jason Kimball captured a sampling of the creative, often single-minded School of Visual Arts students putting the finishing touches on their work.
The results of this work by the senior artists is now on view in the annual BFA Senior Thesis Exhibition, at the 808 Gallery through Friday, May 6.
