As an actor, Daniel has been blessed with a full gamut of roles: from Buchner's Showman (Woyzeck) to Uncle Sam and an Alien Named Edward (A History of the American Film); from a Nazi soldier--and his prisoner (Playing for Time)--to a centuries-old Logician (Rhinoceros); from the notorious swindler, Tartuffe, to his recent work on Tom Stoppard’s Hamlet. His most recent work was on Eduard, a schizophrenic painter, in Lauren Hoffmeier’s adaptation, Veronika Decides to Die. The characters Dan and Gizele are excerpted from his new play, "Oscar: Cosmology".
