Julia grew up in Northern Virginia just outside the country's capital.  She began her studies at Boston University School of Theatre and went on to train with Massachusetts' Double Edge Theatre, Teatro Punto of Spain, and took a semester and summer internship with Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy.  She is drawn to the physical approach of acting including mask work, dance, and clowning. After school she hopes to continue creating work that is visceral and engaging.
