BUSTi 2024: June 30-July 27
BU’s Summer Theatre Institute annually admits high school students who are passionate about taking the next step in their training. We celebrate students who are driven to collaborate with other artists, and curious to unleash the possibilities of the theatrical form.
We accept applications from rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school (typically 15-18 year olds).
The BUSTI 2024 application will go live on December 1, 2023, and will close on March 29, 2024.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
To apply, you will need to submit your materials via our Application Page.
Please plan to include:
A Statement of Intent & A Personal Essay
Written or Filmed – introduce yourself and tell us why you are interested in participating in BUSTi. Please also answer a creative prompt listed on the application.
Your Headshot, or a Photo of you
This does not need to be professionally taken, but should be a .pdf or .jpg file.
These Required Supporting Materials
- One Letter of Recommendation that speaks to your work as a theatre maker, artist, or student. You will be able to upload your letter directly, or send a form to your Recommender, who can upload on your behalf. Please do not mail or e-mail letters of recommendation.
- $75 Application Fee made payable to Boston University (as a personal check, cashier’s check, or money order) sent via mail:
